Bike Race

In June we rode in the Bike for Kids Race. It was pretty fun. There was a little kids course before the family ride. The boys thought it was so neat. They both did pretty good! After that we all went on a nice little ride around part of the greenbelt. We put the boys in the bike trailer for that.

Afterwards there was a fun carnival with all sorts of food and games. The boys tried their first taste of cotton candy. They weren't too impressed.

They both loved trying out the mechanical bull!

Beginning of Summer

We took the three kids into the Dr and they all got shots. It was a little rough so we all needed some sno cones afterwards.
I just love these pictures of them playing outside

Lagoon

In June we headed to Lagoon with my family. It was a fun day. I just love watching the boys smile and laugh on the rides. They are pretty brave and am amazing at how much they can and will do. Elise was so good all day long. Her first and only ride was the tea cups.

June

Just some random pictures I loved from June...

We tried out foot golf in Rexburg. It was pretty fun!

Father's Day

We love any chance we get to spoil and celebrate this wonderful father in our lives. He does so much and the kids adore him. We got him a fire-pit and some grilling stuff to enjoy this summer. We have some great men in our lives and I'm glad the kids have such good examples to follow.

Camping

At the beginning of June we headed up to Island Park for a little camping trip with Ryan's parents. We all slept in the trailer which was nice. It was beautiful up there. The boys loved exploring and we went on some bike rides. It was a nice getaway.

May

There is rarely a day that goes by without the boys making some type fort. So you have been warned. If you come over unexpectedly, there is a good chance our couch cushions will not be available for use.
Ryan now has a bus stop at the corner of our neighborhood. It is so nice! One of the highlights of our day is usually going to pick up Dad. The boys love jumping off those rocks.
My brother John returned from his mission to Bolivia. We are so proud of him and are excited to have him back! The boys began talking his ear off like he had never left (even though they weren't talking when he left). Elise took a while to warm up to him, but now they are good buds.

John brought back these fun soccer jerseys for the boys. They love them!

Elise's Birthday

At the end of May our little princess turned one! It was such a fast year! We just love her to pieces and can't imagine life without her.
To celebrate we headed to the zoo. Elise unfortunately woke up not feeling too great. She has been plagued with ear infections and we were pretty sure she was coming down with one again.
We went out to Noodles and Company then headed home for a nice long nap before the party. I made her a little dress cake out of cupcakes.
We had our families over for dinner and cake and ice cream. When the time came for us to sing, she broke down. I think she realized everyone was looking at her and she got scared! For the next few family birthdays she would cry whenever we sang that song, even if no one was looking at her!
She got lots of fun stuff and we are grateful for our wonderful families!
She just love this little girl. She brings so much light and laughter into our home! It is so special to have a daughter!
